About Us

G2Expert was founded on the premise that a great way to give back to society was through knowledge.  Most security incidents would not even occur if people were taught security best practices.

Security through obfuscation is no security at all.  One of the first things a security professional learns is Kerckhoff’s principle.  Really the only thing that needs to be kept secret is the secret.

G2Expert was founded by Jeremy Schwartz a 20 year industry expert who has a  B.S. in Computer Information Systems from WKU.  Jeremy is also an ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional.  He has Supported/Implemented technology governance frameworks  such as COBIT, ITIL, PMBOK, CMMi, LEAN, Agile and Six Sigma.  He spent over 5 years as a Subject Matter Expert for a billion dollar quality assurance / control vendor.

Currently most of Jeremy’s time is spent architecting enterprise solutions for DDoS mitigation and application layer security services.  Jeremy is also working on cloud based architectures in support of identity and access management for robust AAA.

In Jeremy’s free time he supports G2Expert with large industry derived practices that can be used to help local communities and business.  Jeremy is a community advocate participating as a EFF supporting technical expert and other local community initiatives. Jeremy also loves spending time with his family.

His wife Nicole and two children (Adriana and Luke) are his proudest accomplishments.
